Panorama’s New Child Safety Policy

In response to an inquiry into child sexual, physical and emotional abuse, the Victorian Government adopted 7 child safe standards that organisations dealing with children must adopt. At Panorama, we have always worked to ensure the physical, emotional, and cultural safety of the children we work with. We have formalised our commitment to child safety with the adoption of a Child Safe Policy and Procedure, Statement of Commitment to child safety, and a Code of Conduct for our Committee, Production Team and Volunteers. This goes beyond ensuring that all involved have a Working With Children Check. We want to ensure that all children involved in Panorama productions feel secure and safe and are able to speak up if they do not.
